In 2018, the Child Law Project was established as a company limited by guarantee. The company is registered with the Companies Registration Office under the name of ‘CCLRP CLG’ (625385). The company trades as ‘Child Law Project’ and prior to 2022 it was known as ‘Child Care Law Reporting Project’.

Noeline Blackwell, (Chair) is Chief Executive of the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre and former Director General of Free Legal Advice Centres (FLAC). In 2023, she was appointed as a member of the Irish Human Rights and Equality Authority (IHREC). | |
Dr Carol Coulter, Executive Director of the Project, attends meetings of the Board and acts as its Secretary. She is former Legal Affairs Editor of the Irish Times and ran the Pilot Project on Family Law Reporting for the Courts Service in 2006/2007. | |
The Hon. Mr Justice Frank Clarke was Chief Justice of Ireland from July 2017 to October 2021. He was appointed President of the Law Reform Commission in 2022. He is also Chair of the Civil Legal Aid Review Group, established in June 2022 to review the civil legal aid scheme. | |
Michele Clarke is Adjunct Professor at the School of Social Work and Social Policy, Trinity College Dublin. Her previous roles include Chief Social Worker in the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth and Chief Inspector of the Social Services Inspectorate. | |
Sean Quigley is a chartered accountant. He has held a number of senior financial roles in large complex organisations, including Director of Finance in the Courts Service. He is an expert in corporate governance and is a Non-Executive Director, Investment Trustee, and an Executive and Team Coach. |
